At Wellington Manor, we strive for a perfect balance of community spirit, professionalism, and privacy.

Our building, at 429 W. Wellington Ave, is a vintage 1910 mansion that was converted to condominiums in 1980. Over the past 40 years, the building has been well-kept and modernized, while still keeping its traditional charm. For example, three of the garage spots in the back are actually the original coach-house, and our front staircase still has the original woodwork and marble in pristine condition.

Our condominium association is run as a business. While still considering the emotional elements of owners concerned about their homes, the focus is on the overall well-being of the building and its occupants. The Board always considers what is fair and just, and long-term planning is part of any decision.

We are steps away from Lake Michigan lakefront, lake shore bike and walking paths, Belmont Harbor, Diversey Harbor, Diversey Driving Range and Mini Golf, Diversey Tennis Center, Marianos, Trader Joes, Walmart Neighborhood, XSport, LA Fitness, Century Landmark Theatres, Axe Throwing, Masonic Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital, some of Lakeview East’s top restaurants and express buses to downtown.
